Holy Hydrangeas!

Have you seen the hydrangeas this year in New England? Wow! I wish I had taken more pictures of them on our trip to Cape Cod last month but I think I was just so focused on soaking up their beauty in the moment. Hydrangeas bring me so much happiness. Not only are they gorgeous but they were one of my Meme's favorite flowers. I remember vases of blue ones in her house in the summer.
After coming home from Cape Cod I began seeing more and more pictures of hydrangeas on Instagram and became inspired. What about a hydrangea bedroom? My first search led me to these beautiful sheets and comforter cover by Sara Fitz sold at L.L. Bean. I found myself thinking about these for days. I began to make an inspiration board on how I would complete the room that I am sharing here.

I really like the color contrast the green blanket gives while still matching the leaves on the cover and throw pillow. The comforter cover is not available in Queen, my bed size, unfortunately. I checked Sara Fitz's website to see if they have the cover in Queen but it does not look like it is sold on her website, but she does have some lovely artwork that matches along with wallpaper, clothing, and more.
I also found some pink hydrangea sheets on Amazon while making the previous Inspo board. Deciding between pink or blue for my bedroom is a constant battle for me. I may eventually just end up doing both.

Hydrangea Bonus:
I do not plan on having a nursery again (at least not unless my daughter decides to have children in 12-15 years, hopefully) but I saw these crib sheets and thought what a cute nursery theme this would be with white furniture and accessories in purples and blues.
